‘South London House Reduction’
Lambeth, UK, 2013 - 2014
Complete re-structuring of a large two bay-fronted house in South London to remove a large extension blocking off light and views to the small garden. A new smaller extension was inserted on the existing building line to create a large new garden room opening to a double enfilade each side of the hall, with new oak parquet floor and matching oak-framed bespoke doors and windows. The upper floors were re-modelled and a third floor was added within the existing roofspace by lowering the second floor ceiling.
